About
Solastalgia is a magazine created by young people from Vancouver through the RISE program, which helps youth to co-create community projects in seven cities across Canada. Solastalgia provides a space for artists and readers to communicate their emotions and thoughts. In this volume, young artists from British Columbia describe their experiences with eco-anxiety and the range of emotions they feel in relation to climate change through paintings, poems, songs, collages, and other artistic productions. The intention is to normalize eco-anxiety and the wide variety of emotions associated with it by showing that these emotions are healthy and important.
