Educational Sheet: debate on climate change
About
This educational sheet was created by the French Network for Nature and Environmental Education (FRENE). It aims to support teachers and educators who want to lead a climate debate with young people (aged 8 to 15+). Verbal jousting involves creating two groups of young people who will debate a controversial topic (one group for, one group against). This unique debate format, the "verbal jousting", allows students to particularly develop their argumentation skills while promoting different forms of exchange and encouraging everyone to take part.
